Cheers to Alessandro Ferro... even if everyone calls him Alex.

Cheers to an immigrant who moved from Italy to Darwin 50 years ago, when he was 32 and never left (06.05.1971).

Cheers to a man, Italian born and Territorian made.

Cheers to 36 years of Fannie Bay Superpizza, the business that Alex has founded and made a name for himself among his fellow Territorians.

Cheers to his Italian heritage, that gave him the right mix to succeed in a business that has Italy in its soul... and because an espresso will always be his first choice to “cheers”.

Cheers to a grandfather and a great grandfather who is an inspiration for the younger ones. Especially the ones as myself who have decided to dedicate their life and carriers to kitchens.

Cheers to a man that fell in love with this amazing country and never left, no matter what.
